Nestled into a sloping site and surrounded by mature trees, this new residential concept is a bold first step in Stewart & Partners’ exploration of modular design principles. The early study investigates how refined modules can stack and shift to respond to terrain, orientation, and spatial hierarchy, resulting in a home that is both rational and expressive.
The architecture is anchored by clean horizontal lines and deep overhangs, offering protection from the sun and an expanded sense of space. Generous glazing, operable screens, and considered thresholds blur the boundary between inside and out. The upper level floats elegantly above the living spaces below, framing views and creating moments of lightness and intimacy.
