Layered living spaces lead towards the courtyard garden that opens to expansive views onto the Hottentots Holland mountains at this new wine farm homestead. Circulation through the building is ordered and fluid, built on the vernacular and historical typology of a South African wine farm.

This beautiful family home is situated in the Camps Bay Glen. The brief called for additional accommodation and alterations to an original Visser Thomas Architects designed house. The challenge with this project was to develop an architectural response that met the changing needs of our client in a manner that built off an existing set of architectural ideas and principles in a sympathetic way.
Villa 5A

Villa 5A is a family holiday home featuring an extensive automobile basement and skybridge connecting the two axes of the building. Local stone was used alongside timber. Fiercely adaptive to and embracing of the site, the structure manages the steep curves and opens to spectacular views.
