Sea Farm Estate required an integrated approach to the surrounding area: the built elements nestle into the landscape, dominated by the Hangklipmountains and ocean vista. Connection to the site is maintained by keeping the architecture humble to its environment. Inside the house, private social spaces are sheltered and intimate. A defensive wall shields the house from the strong south-easterly wind.
