Katherine van Wyngaarden achieved the highest grade in the Master of architecture (professional) class at the University of Cape Town in 2022. In the same year, she won the regional Corobrik Student of the Year Award for her design dissertation that explored playful architecture and its ability to allow for social, adaptable and dynamic spaces. She tested these ideas through community and socially driven architecture possibilities in South Africa. 

As a candidate architect at S&P, Katherine is a detail-oriented designer who is constantly refining and expanding her architectural understanding and capabilities. Katherine is passionate about exploring spaces that allow for delight and connection.
